Normal car hire companies have a “prestige”, “deluxe” or “premium” tier that may have some vehicles in common with the prestige car company, but they are likely to be in worse shape. And the car you drive is going to be part of your image, even if it’s a rental, so it’s a matter of choosing how you want to be looked at.
